Fundraiser May 22nd at the Counter!

Hi penpals and friends of SSP!

As many of you know, Stanford Science Penpals started a little over 3 years ago. We began as a team of two frist-year graduate students and we ran a single penpal exchange with a school in Texas. Since then, our leadership team has more than tripled and we are now working with seven schools across the US.

Stanford Science Penpals has grown a lot since we started. Our hope is that we can keep growing and improving our program. To facilitate this growth, we are having a fundraiser on May 22nd at The Counter on California Avenue in Palo Alto. This fundraiser will help with the general costs of maintaining our organization, costs which our usual funding does not cover. How does it work? The Counter has generously agreed to donate 15% of all dine-in and take-out orders back to Stanford Science Penpals. All you have to do is show them our flyer.

Our leadership team will be headed to The Counter on Tuesday to have dinner and support our cause. We hope to see you all there!
